How do I submit my family's information to the White/Byrd database?
If you choose to join One Great Family, you can enter your family's information into our file and we can download it from there. If you do not want to join One Great Family, then you can fill out a family group sheet and a family pedigree chart and send them to us. If you choose to fill them out by hand, mail them to:Return to Top
White Family AssociationIf you fill them out in your Microsoft Word or other word processing program, save them in their original .rtf (rich text format) format and E-mail your files to us at . If you have your information in a genealogy program, you can create a .ged file and E-mail that to us instead.

What are the LDS Ordinance columns for?
The LDS Ordinance columns are for you to enter any information on ordinances performed through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints that may have been for the individuals whose names you are submitting to the database. If you are not LDS or do not know whether these ordinances have been performed, leave these areas blank.Return to Top
Is the data on this website everything that you have on the family?
No. We are still working on editing and updating the information we have gathered. Also, the program we use to maintain the database will only create 32 generations on a website. If you want to see our complete genealogy results you will have to join One Great Family and join our group. We have some lines back to Adam on their database.Return to Top
Can I download the database from this website?
We have had problems with that in the past. The best thing for you to do is to submit a request for the line in which you are interested and we will send you a .ged file for that line via E-mail. The .ged file will open in any genealogy program.Return to Top
What program do you use, and do I need that same program to submit or receive data?
We use Personal Ancestral File (PAF), which you can download for free from LDS Church. You do not have to use this particular program, and many fine genealogy programs are available. As long as you can accept and create .ged files, you should have no problem.Return to Top
